Stories can be more true than reality. The human brain is wired to respond to narrative over facts. Even when the facts matter more, the narrative will always be more compelling. These fables are a series of lessons about writing told as a stories. Is the time of the fable over? Are didactic stories heavy handed relics of an age when people were too dumb to see the message in the words? I don’t know. Take a look, and decide for yourself.
